NTES
Overview
I led the project from the first creative pitch to the final identity system — combining Art Direction, strategy, client presentation, and hands-on design.
I developed the conceptual direction and moodboards used to introduce and sell the project, presented the creative approach directly to the client, and then designed the identity across its core visual touchpoints. As both Art Director and lead designer, I was responsible for shaping the idea and bringing it to execution.
Idea
The style is based on a metaphorical interpretation of an oil meter and the flow it measures. The brand mark transforms the circular structure of the meter into an abstract, continuous form. The inner geometry represents the movement of oil through the system, while the enclosed shape reflects the idea of measurement, control, and uninterrupted flow.

Logo redesign
The original mark was refined into a cleaner and more balanced symbol while preserving its core concept. The updated geometry improves legibility, strengthens the connection between the meter and the flow metaphor, and creates a more distinctive foundation for the new identity.
Green was chosen as the main brand color.
Its deep, energetic shade reflects the company’s connection to the oil and industrial sectors, while creating a strong association with technology, engineering and continuous flow.
The color gives NTES a distinctive visual presence and separates the brand from the conventional blue-and-grey palette of industrial companies.

Graphic language
The character of the symbol defines the graphic language of all the branding.

Guide
A detailed brand guide defines the logo construction, proportions, clear space, variations, typography, color palette, and application rules, ensuring a consistent and flexible identity across different formats and contexts.
Website & Mobile
Following the identity redesign, NTES approached us to bring the new visual language into its digital presence. We redesigned the corporate website and mobile experience, translating the identity into a clear, structured interface for presenting the company, its technologies, products, and engineering expertise.
